NGO "NARODNA DOPOMOHA UKRAINE" ANNOUNCED THE START OF THE NEW HUMANITARIAN PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION

From the first days of the war in Ukraine, our NGO supported Ukrainians who fled their homes and looked for shelter in Chernivtsi. During this period, we also worked on the project's design, which will increase our resources and let us helps vulnerable groups.

On March 1, 2022, we officially started the project "Emergency aid for displaced and vulnerable host communities in Chernivtsi, Western Ukraine," in partnership with the Austrian NGO "Volkshilfe Solidarität" with the financial support of "Nachbar in Not" and "Arbeiterwohlfahrt".

The main project goals are:

The basic food needs of vulnerable IDP and host community households are met.

Basic hygiene needs of vulnerable IDP and host community members are met.

Vulnerable IDPs have received critical protection support, including basic psychosocial counseling, GBV protection, legal advice, and information services.

Project duration – 6 months
