Results of work on the territory of Buchanskaya OTO

From August 2022 to March 2024, the NGO "People's Aid Ukraine" implemented the project "Assistance in early recovery of communities affected by the war in Bucha, Irpin, and Hostomel."

The main goal of the project is the restoration of homes, light and medium repairs of buildings, replacement of window and door blocks damaged by shelling in citizens' homes. As well as the reconstruction of preschool and school education institutions.

Now we want to share with you the results of our work in the Buchansk AH.

During this time, we managed to restore and reconstruct 224 private sector dwellings (apartments and houses), as well as carry out repair work in the following residential care facilities and schools:

▪️DNZ No. 1 "Sonyachny" - repair work and replacement of window blocks;

▪️Kozachok Kindergarten No. 3 - repair work and replacement of window blocks;

▪️DNZ No. 11 "Berezka" - repair work and replacement of window blocks;

▪️DNZ No. 7 "Lubyanka" - repair work and replacement of window blocks;

▪️DNH No. 2 "Horobynka" (130 children and 47 staff) - repair and expansion of the shelter;

▪️Preschool No. 4 "Prolisok" (128 children and 42 staff) - repair of the roof damaged during the war and waterproofing of the shelter;

▪️DNZ "Perlynka" and "Yablu'ka" - 7 kW electric generators were transferred.

▪️Secondary School No. 3 – major roof repairs with a total area of 3,000 m2.
