Vienna and Prague: completion of the cultural project "The White Plague: Fantastic Realism of the Times of a War"

The implementation of the creative part of the project "The White Plague: Fantastic Realism of the Times of One War" has been completed, within the framework of which the Dnipro Theater "We Believe!" performed the play "The White Plague", based on the play by Karel Čapek, in Austria (Vienna) and the Czech Republic (Prague).

The project implementer is the NGO "Narodna Dopomoga".

We are happy that we were able to gather such a large number of people who are interested in theater.

And we had a dialogue through the language of art. About war, about the complex world we have to live in every day, and about the future we aspire to.

Someone missed the Ukrainian theater "We Believe!" and came to the performance, having overcome 1,500 kilometers. We met someone for the first time. Someone understood Ukrainian, someone came in handy with the German libretto. We were infinitely happy for everyone!

Also, the performance was visited by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Republic of Austria Vasyl Khymynec and the Secretary of the Dnipro City Council Oleksandr Sanzhara.

The performances and forums took place as part of the project "White Plague: Fantastic Realism of the Times of a War", which is implemented by the NGO "People's Aid Ukraine" in partnership with the Dnipro Drama Youth Theater "We Believe!", and co-financed by the ZMINA: Rebuilding program, created with the support of the European Union as part of a special call for applications to support Ukrainian refugees and the Ukrainian cultural and creative sectors, with the support of the ICF "IZOLYATSIA", Trans Europe Halles and Malý Berlín
